Château Recougne 2020 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is fruity and offers a relatively powerful and slightly tight grain. It reveals notes of pulpy black cherry, pulpy strawberry and small notes of small, almost roasted red fruits associated with juicy touches as well as hints of licorice stick and a subtle hint of blond tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, a beautiful energy as well as a tangy structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright cherry and small notes of small juicy/bright red berries associated with toasted touches, nutmeg as well as a subtle hint of chocolate. Tannins are supple and sapid. An iodine/sapid hint. Good length.
