The nose is fruity and gourmand. It reveals notes of candied citrus (tangerine, lemon), grapefruit and fine notes of pear in syrup associated with a discreet touch of apricot in syrup, a discreet touch of pineapple in syrup as well as hints of spices and slight notes of honey. The palate is fruity, elegant, well-balanced, round, relatively gourmand and offers a good volume, a good precision, tenson and a fine acid frame in the background. In mouth this Sauternes expresses notes of candied lemon, candied mandarin and candied peach associated with discreet hints of pear in syrup, honey, spices and a a hint of pâtisserie. Good length. An “easy-drinking” wine.
