Château Rabaud-Promis 2020, Sauternes, Premier Grand Cru Classé 

On the nose, fresh and offers power, freshness, intensity as well as a little tightness, complexity and a certain finesse in its richness. It reveals notes of fresh kumquat, sweet zest and more lightly has some nice distinguished minerality notes (fresh gravel) associated with touches of candied yellow peach, pear. On the palate, fresh, pulpy, elegant and offers dynamism, a nice definition, a very nice acidity (terroir, fresh gravel side), sapidity, a good definition, elegance, a nice finesse in its richness and fat. The wine expresses notes of fresh lime, fresh/pulpy peach and more slightly fresh/sweet kumquat associated with touches of candied berries, acacia flowers, honey as well as a subtle hint of almond, fresh hazelnut (in the background). A beautiful persistence on notes of almond and fresh nutmeg.
