Château Rabaud-Promis 2020 – Sauternes

Nice fresh, precise, mineral and a bit aerial nose which offers crystalline touches. It reveals notes of pulpy yellow plum, apricot in syrup, and more slightly – notes of juicy/fresh yellow berries associated with slight touches of yellow peach in syrup, slight hints of lily/acacia as well as discreet hints of beeswax and a discreet hint of nutmeg. The mouth is fruity and offers freshness, a nice definition, fatness, and fullness. It is a bit aerial as well as in its fatness and refined in its richness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of small jammy yellow plum, crystallized mandarin, and more slightly – hints of dried apricot associated with slight touches of yellow peach, a hint of lychee in syrup, slight hints of white flowers, a racy minerality, honey as well as a subtle hint of pastries (in the background) and a discreet hint of fresh acacia. Good length.
