Château Puygueraud  2016 – Francs Côtes-de-Bordeaux

The nose is fruity, fresh as well as slightly concentrated and racy. It reveals notes of yuzu/green lemon zests and fresh lemon associated with a hint of mandarin as well as discreet hints of fleshy white fruits (peach, pear). The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a beautiful minerality, a small bright side, a beautiful freshness, a beautiful fat/roundness, deepness as well as a beautiful definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of lemon, apple and white peach associated with slight/discreet notes of mandarin/fresh orange as well as subtle hints of clay. Good length and beautiful persistence on slight notes of citrus/zest.
