The nose is elegant, fine, fresh, racy and offers a beautiful grain, minerality as well as intensity. It reveals notes of fresh/ripe wild blackberry, fresh/ripe cassis and small notes of ripe strawberry associated with small touches of small wild black fruits, cornflower, hints of spices, very fine hints of Cuben pepper as well as a subtle hint of nutmeg and a very discreet hint of cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, precision, tension, juiciness as well as a mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/fresh cassis, fleshy/juicy blackberry and small notes of strawberry associated with small touches of crunchy/juicy small black fruits as well as touches of cardamom, nutmeg, sweet spices. Tannins are elegant. Good length. A fine sapidity as well as a fine firmness on the finish. There is an imperceptible hint of caramelization on the finish/persistence.
