The nose offers a fine richness and a very fine power/intensity. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe blackberry and small notes of green pepper associated with fine touches of violet as well as hint of cardamom, nutmeg, spices and toasted/vanilla. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers tension as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/crunchy cassis, juicy/crunchy raspberry and small notes of violet associated with a fine touch of fresh blackberry as well as fine toasted hints, chocolate and vanilla (in the background). Tannins are elegant.
