It reveals notes of cassis, black cherry and small notes of ripe raspberry associated with a touch of liquorice, small red berries as well as very fine hints of toasted (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy frame, minerality as well as a juicy/acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous cassis, juicy/acidulous blackberry and small notes of red fruits (redcurrant, cherry) associated with a touch of black cherry, violet as well as very discreet hints of sugared mild tobacco, varietal and a subtle hint of nutmeg. A very discreet hint of cocoa on the persistence.
