Château Preuillac 2016 – Médoc, Cru Bourgeois

The nose is fruity and offers a small concentration as well as a fine power. It reveals notes of ripe cassis and ripe small wild fruits associated with touches of gray pepper, violet as well as fine hints of flehsy/juicy raspberry and a very discreet hint of nutmeg (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, structured and offers juiciness, suavity, a small tension, a fine straightness, a good freshness as well as a fine juicy/acidulous frame (in the background). On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/crunchy cassis, juicy/crunchy wild berries and more slightly juicy/crunchy cherry associatec with fine touches of racy minerality/gravel, liquorice stick and a very discreet hint of mild tobacco.
