The nose is fruity and offers a small power as well as a fine concentration. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of fleshy raspberry, fleshy strawberry and more slightly racy minerality, cassis associated with touches of graphite, flowers (cornflower…), liquorice, toasted as well as a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is minera, racy and offers a good definition, a fine tension, a mineral frame, tension, freshness as well as a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe raspberry, ripe cherry and more slightly cassis associated with a touch of fresh/crunchy violet plum, flowers as well as fine hints of racy minerality/graphite, discreet hints of liquorice and a very discreet hint of vanilla. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
