Château Porte-chic 2016  – Pomerol

The nose is fresh, aromatic and relatively elegant. It reveals notes of fresh cassis, fresh blackberry and slight notes of dark chocolate. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers fat, freshness, a good unctuosity, minerality, tension as well as a beautiful “guideline”. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh/ripe blackberry, fresh/ripe strawberry and a discreet hint of berries/blackberry/fresh raspberry associated with hints of chocolate as well as a discreet hint of licorice, sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of Cuben pepper on the finish/persistence. Tannins are fine and elegant. The finish is relatively gourmande.
