The nose is powerful, racy, elegant and offers a beautiful definition, power, a pulpy side, a fine intensity as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, wild cassis and small notes of peony, iris associated with touches of red fruits (crunchy raspberry, fresh strawberry), hints of toasted, fresh liquorice, a hint of chocolate as well as fine hints of green cardamom and nutmeg/spices. Very discreet hints of coffee appear afterthe work in the glasse. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, elegant and offers a good definition, a beautiful freshness, a beautiful density, power, a beautiful grain, an acidulous frame, a beautiful juiciness, tension, a good tannic structure, a fine tension, precision, sauvity, gourmandize, straightness, a fine freshness (in the background) as well as a beautiful ripe fruit, juicy and pulpy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, juicy blackberry and small notes of juicy wild raspberry associated with small touches of flowers/varietals, liquorice, caramelization as well as fine hints of dark chocolate and toasted. Tannins are structuring, very finely firm and well-built. There is an imperceptible hint of coffee on the persistence. The persistence is gourmande and sapide.
