The nose is fruity, aromatic, elegant, racy and offers power and concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, boysenberry and slight notes of fresh raspberry, fresh cherry associated with a slight hint of cocoa / wood, hints of tonka bean, racy minerality (terroir) as well as a slight / discreet hint of violet, blueberry (in the background) and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant and offers a nice delicacy, a beautiful structure, a slight juiciness, a beautiful freshness, a very beautiful precision, a beautiful complexity, a nice suavity, a nice definition, a small acid frame, a silky matter as well as a beautiful expression of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and slight notes of cherry associated with slight touches of cherry, raspberry and discreet hints of strawberry, licorice, toasted touches, sweet spices as well as an imperceptible touch of ripe almond and Sichuan pepper (on the aftertaste). Tannins are fine and offers a beautiful grain. The finish is slightly tannic and elegant. Good length and good persistence. (2027+).
