The nose is fresh and offers concentration, power as well as deepness. It reveals notes of wild blackcurrant and small notes of racy minerality/sens of the place, cloves, sweet spices and grey pepper. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced and offers precision, a good definition, gourmandize, a beautiful matter as well as a fine/acidulous frame. On the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe griotte cherry, very ripe raspberry and small notes of small crushed red berries associated with a touch of blackberry as well as fine hints of violet, cloves and caramelization/toasted hazelnut. Tannins are elegant, structuring and racy. Good length and persistence.
