Château Pontet Barrail 2014 – Médoc – Cru Bourgeois

The nose is fruity and relatively powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry cream, crushed Gariguette strawberry and slight hints of plum associated with hints of chocolate as well as a hint of vanilla and a discreet hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, fine, sleek, silky and offers a good definition as well as a nice matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry jelly, plum and cherry associated with slight notes of raspberry, chocolate, licorice, a hint of coffee as well as a discreet hint of pepper and gray pepper. A nice wine!
