Château Poitevin 2021 – Médoc Cru Bourgeois Supérieur

Château Poitevin 2021 – Médoc Cru Bourgeois Supérieur

The nose is floral and reveals power, intensity and a fine uprightness. There are notes of violet, iris and, more slightly, pepper, combined with hints of lilac, juicy red berries and a hint of blue berries and fine bergamot. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, juiciness, a certain brightness, an acidic backbone, and racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, blueberry and more slightly red berries combined with hints of lilac, iris as well as fine nuances of crisp blue plum, and fine hints of sweet spice and almond. Good length. Nice juiciness, liveliness, freshness, roundness, good definition and elegance, flirts with bitter taste but a positive one. The tannins are elegant.
