Château Poitevin 2017 – Médoc, Cru Bourgeois

The nose is aromatic and offers a fine concentration and a beautiful grain. It reveals notes of wild berries, wild raspberry and small notes of wild blackberry associated with a fine touch of juicy plum, fresh flowers as well as fine hints of sweet spices, toasted and a subtle hint of bourbon vanilla. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame as well as a good precision a definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy/ripe raspberry, fleshy/ripe strawberry and small notes of juicy Boysen berry associated with a hint of cherry as well as fine toasted hints, vanilla and an imperceptible hint of sugared mild tobacco. Good length.
