Château Plince 2010 – Pomerol

Château Plince 2010 – Pomerol

The nose is racy and offers a certain concentration as well as deepness. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, crushed/quite ripe wild strawberry, small notes of nutmeg associated with touches of wild cassis, zan, sweet spices as well as discreet hints of black pepper, a subtle hint of clove and an imperceptible hint of underwood. The palate is fruity, tight and offers juiciness, minerality, a good definition as well as tension, a certain gourmandize, freshness, tension and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, quite ripe wild cassis, small notes of wild strawberry associated with touches of quite ripe cherry, cornflower, lily as well as fine hints of Sichuan pepper, spices, peony and subtle hints of underwood. Good length. Gourmandize and a very fine chew on the persistence.
