The nose offers a fine power, intensity and a peppery side. It reveals notes of grey pepper, spices, small notes of crushed blackberry associated with touches of crushed strawberry, small berries as well as fine hints of fresh tobacco and clove. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers tension, minerality and fluidity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, fleshy strawberry, small notes of juicy blackberry associated with touches of cloves, spices, toasted as well as hints of grey pepper and a subtle hint of vanilla. Tannins are finely marked.
