Château Plantey 2020 – Pauillac, Cru Bourgeois

On the nose fruity, fresh with a fine concentration, with a very discreet tight richness.It reveals notes of pulpy cassis, boysenberry, hints of pulpy cherry associated with touches of violet, and hints of nutmeg, toast and a discreet hint of sichuan pepper. On the palate, fruity, balanced with a creaminess, a certain juiciness as well as an acidic frame. The wine expresses notes of pulpy cassis, creamy strawberry and hints of small pulpy/juicy red fruits associated with touches of tonka bean, blueberry, toast, caramelization and a discreet touch of vanilla. Good length. The tannins are relatively mellow.
