Château Plain-Point – Chairman’s Selection 2019 – Fronsac

The nose is fruity and offers a small power, a fine intensity as well as a fine / slightly tight grain. It reveals notes of wild strawberry, pulpy / juicy wild red berries and small notes of violet associated with fine touches of cassis, slight hints of Cuben pepper, nutmeg and an imperceptible hint of bergamot. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, pulpiness / juiciness, dynamism, a good definition as well as a beautiful fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy raspberry, small red berries and small notes of cassis associated with slight touches of cornflower, violet as well as a hint of juicy violet plum, nutmeg, cardamom, vanilla (in the background) and toasted. Good length.
