Château Plain-Point 2019 – Fronsac

The nose is fruity and offers a little creaminess / freshness as well as a certain gourmandize. It reveals notes of blackberry cream, crushed strawberry and more slightly crushed red berries associated with small touches of violet, sweet blond tobacco as well as fine hints of chocolate and toasted almond. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, creaminess, good volume, some freshness, minerality, good definition as well as a fine tension. This wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, crushed cassis and more slightly crushed wild strawberry associated with touches of cornflower, crushed plum as well as fine hints of chocolate and caramelization. Tannins are supple. Good length. Gourmandize, persistence and a little chewiness at the end of the palate.
