The nose is aromatic and reveals elegance, good definition and a nice grain. There are notes of black plum, violet and, to a lesser extent, racy minerality combined with a touch of incense, berries and fine black tea and liquorice. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, acidity, good definition, juiciness, acidity and energy. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/acidic blackcurrant, pulpy dark berries and more lightly fresh red fruit (cherry, berry) notes with hints of fresh flowers, fine incense, racy minerality and a fine touch of cardamom and tobacco. Good work on the bitter taste. The tannins are tight.
