The nose is frutiy, fleshy and offers a fine gourmandize as well as a fine density. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry and crushed redcurrant associated with small touches of cassis, liquorice, spices as well as a subtle/discreet touch of racy minerality and chocolate. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers an acid frame, tension, a small freshness, a fine unctuosity as well as a tannic structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, crushed cassis and wild strawberry associated with subtle touches of liquorice, fine hints of sweet spices as well as an imperceptible hint of toasted. Tannins are well-built. The palate is gourmand.
