The nose is fruity, fresh, slightly closed, discreetly tight and offers a little minty side, a racy minerality, a beautiful grain as well as a little « aerial » power. It reveals notes of boysenberry, sweet spices and small notes of graphite associated with touches of wild red fruits, raspberry as well as slight hints of small blue fruits, racy minerality, a hint of vanilla and a subtle hint of blond tobacco. The palate is beautifully fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers elegance, a beautiful acidulous frame, a certain tension, a small straightness, a small controlled power, delicacy as well as precision. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of bright blackberry, fresh/pulpy cassis and small notes of graphite associated with touches of fresh raspberry, bright small blue fruits as well as hints of dark chocolate, toasted, slight hints of Bourbon vanilla as well as a slight hint of saffron, crushed nutmeg and a subtle hint of sweet spices. Beautiful acidity on the finish.
