Château Peyros – Tradition 2012 – Madiran

The nose is aromatic, elegant and relatively fine. It reveals notes of cassis and cassis bud associated with fine notes of plum, blackberry, a discreet note of red fruit as well as hints of spices, pepper, dark chocolate and tea. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, fine, well-balanced, relatively fat and relatively gourmande. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and cherry associated with touches of cassis bud, wild strawberry, slight notes of plum as well as oaky touches, slight notes of mocha and a discreet touch of tobacco. Tannins are fine and a bit dry. The finish is slightly suave and offers a fine saline hint.
