On the nose, fruity and offers finesse, power (in finesse), fine grain, some depth as well as complexity. It reveals notes of wild blackcurrant, juicy/fresh/blackberry and more lightly of berries associated with fine touches of lily, camphor, sweet spices, discreet hints of hazelnut and an imperceptible touch of vanilla. On the palate, fruity, balanced, distinguished and offers juiciness, precision, fine tension, finesse, a nice work of bitterness as well as delicacy, mellowness (in freshness), delicacy and a fine grain. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, pulpy black currant and more lightly raspberry associated with touches of dark berries as well as hints of vanilla, graphite, cardamom, fine hints of tonka bean and toasted hazelnut. Good length. The tannins are mellow.
