Château Petit-Village 2020

Château Petit-Village 2020

The nose is elegant, precise, deep with a pretty delicacy and subtlety in its straightness and power. There are notes of matured boysenberries, bright blue berries and small notes of roasted wild strawberries as well as hints of camphor, fresh pepper and a subtle note of violet. The palate is fruity with accuracy, freshness and good definition. A certain roundness accompanies delicacy and a tangy frame that offers airiness with tension. There are notes of roasted cherries, star anise and small notes of bright purple plums associated with hints of blackberries, small roasted berries as well as hints of racy minerality (gravels), lily, star anise and a subtle hint of sap and a very discreet note of pepper in the background. Gradually a hint of torrefaction appears. There is a nice freshness, minerality and aromatic purity.
