The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of juicy / luscious cherry, juicy / luscious strawberry and more slightly juicy cassis associated with a hint of fresh fig as well as discreet hints of nutmeg. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, juiciness, a little minerality, roundness, a fine airy side as well as a flattering side of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy cherry, pulpy / juicy raspberry and more slightly Quetsche plum associated with a subtle hint of tangy fig as well as discreet hints of nutmeg, sweet blond tobacco and a very discreet almost vanilla hint. Tannins are precise, fine and integrated. Presence of a subtle hint of good bitterness on the finish / persistence.
