The nose is fruity, powerful, precise and very discreetly tight. This wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of cassis, pink pepper berries and small notes of wild raspberry associated with small touches of crushed blackberry, liquorice as well as a discreet hint of flowers, varietals and discreet hints of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, an acidulous/juicy frame, a good definition as well as a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, fleshy/juicy cassis and small notes of pink pepper berries associated with touches of crunchy wild red fruits (raspberry, berries), fine hints of liquorice, chocolate as well as discreet hints of cardamom and vanilla. Tannins are straight, fine and precise. Good length. Good persistence.
