Château Perron – La Fleur 2015 – Lalande-de-Pomerol

Château Perron – La Fleur 2015 – Lalande-de-Pomerol

The nose is aromatic, concentrated, finely gourmand as well as finely elegant. It reveals notes of blackberry, Gariguette strawberry and red berries combined with fine hints of cassis, caramelized oak as well as a discreet hint of chocolate and an imperceptible hint of spices (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice mineral frame, a fine juiciness, fat, tension, a fine straightness, a fine unctuosity and a good definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, crushed black berries and crushed strawberry combined with fine touches of redcurrant, caramelized oak, a subtle hint of licorice / zan, tobacco as well as touches of vanilla and sweet spices. Tannins are well-built. The finish is gourmande.
