Château Perron 2015 – Lalande-de-Pomerol

Château Perron 2015 – Lalande-de-Pomerol

The nose is fruity and slightly powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry and fresh strawberry associated with touches of redcurrant, raspberry as well as touches of oak, caramelization / wood, a very discreet hint of cocoa bean, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of Sichuan pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, mineral, fine, silky, slightly powerful and offers a nice suavity, tension, a good structure, freshness, an acid frame and a good definition. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of raspberry jam, crushed strawberry and crushed blackberries combined with a subtle touch of cassis, cornflower as well as a hint of toasted oak, zan, caramelization and an imperceptible hint of tobacco. Good length.
