Château Penin Les Cailluox 2022 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose expresses good concentration and the juiciness of black fruits (black plum, blackberry, morello cherry) with lighter notes of red fruits (cherry, strawberry). It is subtly spicy and offers notes of licorice, clove and black pepper, even a little sweet on the nose (we also find sweet notes of vanilla and cinnamon). The mouth is tight, closed, with bitterness on the attack. The mid-palate and finish are silkier, on fruits (griotte, strawberry, blackberry), but quite firm and tannic, a little dry. Beautiful acidity, freshness and a well-built structure.
