Château Pedesclaux 2010 – Pauillac, Cru Classé

The nose is elegant and offers a small racy minerality, a fine richness as well as gourmandise. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe red berries and ripe raspberry combined with hints of liquorice and slight hints of underbrush. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a beautiful acidulous frame, a small tension, a small juiciness, delicacy, a beautiful grain as well as straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of acidulous / ripe red berries, acidulous / ripe blackberry and small notes of wild strawberry associated with fine touches of liquorice stick, undergrowth and very discreet hints of chocolate. Tannins are elegant. A beautiful, fine and gourmand wine.
