The nose is elegant, racy and offers precision, a good complexity/structure and gourmandize. It reveals notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy wild strawberry and small notes of small blue fruits associated with very fine hints of violet, a subtle hint of nutmeg, spices and an imperceptible hint of black pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, a fine tension, a fine fat as well as suavity/roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/ripe cassis, ripe/crushed raspberry and small notes of small blue fruits associated with crushed/ripe strawberry as well as very discreet toasted hints, tonka bean and very discreet hints of coffee (in the background). Tannins are fine, elegant. Good length and persistence with an imperceptible hint of almond/ripe hazelnut.
