The nose is fruity (a nice fruit!) and offers maturity as well as brightness. It reveals notes of black blackberry, small black bright fruits, small notes of blue plum associated with touches of graphite, sweet blond tabaco, flower (cornflower, lily) as well as hints of vanilla, sweet spices and a discreet hint of balsamic. The mouth is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, suavity, a good definition, a certain tension as well as finesse and freshness in its richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blue fruits, small juicy/pulpy red berries as well as hints of liquorish, nutmeg, graphite, cardamom, and a hint of toasted hazelnut. Tannins are precis, soft and racy.
