Château Paveil de Luze 2022 – Margaux Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel

The nose is juicy and delicious. It offers precision and a beautiful concentration of ripe fruit: we find notes of morello cherry, fresh blackcurrant, black plum, crushed strawberry, bigarreau cherry jam and red currants as well as delicate spicy touches: licorice (almost star anise), cloves and vanilla, as well as dark chocolate. The nose also expresses an elegant floral bouquet: aromas of lily, lilac and more slightly – violet. On the palate, the wine offers volume, but with finesse, soft and very fine tannins and a velvety texture. It expresses notes of juicy blackcurrant (or even slightly crème de cassis), wild strawberry, roasted red cherry, morello cherry, black plum, redcurrant jam as well as delicate spicy touches (clove, vanilla, licorice), combined with notes of fresh flowers (lily, violet) and a subtle mineral touch (graves). The acidity is fresh and salivating, the finish is persistent and expresses tannic power, slightly drying, but enveloped.
