The nose is elegant, slightly concentrated, racy and offers a small finesse. It reveals notes of cassis, red berries and slight notes of wild strawberry, wood combined with a hint of racy minerality as well as hints of chocolate, Sichuan pepper, caramelized oak and subtle hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a nice definition, a nice precision, a beautiful suavity, a slight mineral frame, a slight acidity, a small concentration as well as a beautiful, silky and gourmande matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of red currant, crushed raspberry, crushed strawberry and slight notes of fresh blackberry associated with subtle woody touches as well as a subtle touch of licorice and a very discreet hint of almond. Tannins are fine, a bit tight and very finely dry. Good persistence. (2020+)
