On the nose, fresh, tight and offers a delicate concentration. It reveals notes of fresh/crisp blackberry, ripe blackcurrant and subtle notes of strawberry combined with hints of ripe wild berries, violet as well as hints of licorice/zan stick, iris and fresh nutmeg.
On the palate, fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, good definition, moderate gourmandize, some tension, well-balanced richness. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, crisp raspberry and more slightly ripe red berries associated with hints of fresh iris, fresh lily as well as touches of chocolate, toasted hazelnut and a discreet hint of zan. The tannins are well-structured.
