The nose is fruity, aromatic and powerful. It reveals notes of ripe/fresh cassis and slight notes of fresh/ripe red berries associated with slight hints of violet as well as discreet hints of licorice stick and a hint of mocha/oak. The palate is fruity, fresh, racy and offers a nice acid frame, a nice tension, a beautiful freshness as well as a slight unctuosity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh/ripe blackberry and slight notes of fresh/ripe cassis, fresh/strawberry associated with discreet hints of chocolate, caramelized oak as well as very discreet hints of spices and cedar wood. There is a discreet hint of bitter dark chocolate on the finish. Tannins are fine, racy and well-built. Good length and gourmand persistence.
