Château Nénin 2015 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity, finely gourmand and offers concentration. It reveals notes of crushed blueberry and cassis associated with fine hints of blackberry, crushed Gariguette strawberry, and subtle hints of ripe redcurrant, discreet hints of wood, cardamom and an imperceptible hint of mocha. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, silky and offers a nice mineral frame, a fine juiciness, a fine acidity, a fine suavity, a nice matter as well as a fine gourmandise. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry and juicy raspberry combined with fine touches of cassis, blue fruits, zan, tobacco, cardamon, wood / spices as well as a subtle hint of mocha. Tannins are fine and very slightly grainy. Good length and beautiful persistence. There is a slight hint of bitter dark chocolate on the aftertaste.
