Château Moya – Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux

Château Moya – Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose offers concentration and finesse. It expresses notes of blackcurrant, black plum, wild strawberry, morello cherry and red cherry, accompanied by touches of coffee, bitter cocoa, hints of sweet spices (licorice, a fine note of cinnamon, white pepper), flowers (dried rose) and more slightly – dried mint. On the palate, the wine is round, enveloping and has a silky tannin texture. It expresses notes of morello cherry, blackcurrant, crème de cassis, blackberry, wild strawberry and red cherry, accompanied by sweet and spicy touches of dark chocolate, vanilla, licorice, as well as floral and herbaceous notes (peony and rosemary). The acidity and tannic structure are supple. The finish is fruity, quite persistent.
