The nose is aromatic, flowery and offers power, a fine grain as well as a certain intensity. It reveals notes of blackberry, strawberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of cassis, saffron, sweet spices as well as a discreet hint of minerality, Sichuan pepper as well as an imperceptible hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, a fine fat, a fine suavity, tension as well as energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/crunchy raspberry, cherry and small notes of small juicy/fresh red berries associated with touches of lilac, cassis, violet as well as hints of tonka bean, toasted, vanilla, a discreet hint of saffron and almond. Good length. Tannins are well-built.
