Château Mouton-Rothschild 2015 – Pauillac, 1er Cru Classé

Château Mouton-Rothschild 2015 – Pauillac, 1er Cru Classé

The nose is elegant, racy, concentrated, intense (but full of finesse) and offers richness, gourmandise as well as a velvety side. It reveals notes of blackberry, wild strawberry, cassis and mint associated with slight touches of toasted oak as well as a subtle touch of black pepper and spices. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, elegant, aerial and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful acid frame as well as a slightly unctuous matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy raspberry and slight touches of wild strawberry, cassis associated with touches of Zan, blond tobacco as well as subtle touches of caramelized oak, vanilla and a subtle touch of minerality almost saline on the finish. Tannins are fine and delicate. Good length. There are a subtle touch of minerality almost saline and a touch of acidity (brings suavity) on the finish.
