The nose is powerful, elegant, racy and offers deepness as well as a certain power/intensity. It reveals notes of wild cassis, wild blackberryand small notes of iris associated with touches of violet, lilac, small black berries, liquorice as well as discreet hints of black tea, pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a beautifl freshness, minerality, suavity as well as energy and a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/bright cassis, juicy cherry and small notes of violet associated with touches of rose, small bright red fruits as well as fine hints of liquorice, black tea, camphor and a subtle hint of pepper. Tannins are elegant, finely marked, precise and structuring. Very fine hints of bourbon vanilla pod and a very discreet hint of coffee in the finish/persistence.
