The nose is fruity, racy and offers power, a small intensity, juiciness, a small richness as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, Sichuan pepper and small notes of blueberry associated with fine hints of strawberry, flowers, discreet hints of spices as well as a very discreet hint of vanilla and cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, silky and offers a beautiful definition, an acidulous frame, juiciness, a fine grain, freshness, gourmandize as well as fullness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, fleshy/juicy cassis and small notes of fleshy/juicy blueberry associated with small touches of violet, cornflower, vanilla as well as discreet hints of toasted/caramelized almond and toasted. Tannins are structuring and well-built. Good length.
