The nose is gourmand and offers a fine intensity. It reveals notes of blackberry, toasted notes and small notes of crushed cassis, crushed wild strawberry associated with a touch of caramelization, vanilla as well as a very discreet hint of Sichuan pepper and almond. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced, silky and offers a fine suavity, a small tension, a fine gourmandise as well as a beautiful acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / fresh cassis and fleshy / fresh wild berries associated with small touches of cherry, crunchy raspberry, flowers (blueberry, lilac) as well as discreet toasted hints, spices and a very discreet hint of vanilla. Tannins are fine, a bit firm and straight. Good length.
