The nose is fruity, fresh, elegant, relatively fine and offers concentration. It reveals blackberry jam and slight notes of crème de cassis associated with a discreet touch of red fruits, sweet spices as well as a hint of Sichuan pepper and small woody notes. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, relatively gourmand and offers a nice freshness, tension, a beautiful precision as well as a beautiful and unctuous matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam, fleshy Garriguette strawberry, plum and slight notes of small fresh berries combined with touches of sweet spices (vanilla, blond tobacco) and a discreet toasted hint and hazelnut on the persistence. Tannins are fine and ripe (for an EnPrimeur wine). Good length and persistence
