Château Moulin Riche 2022 – Saint-Julien

Nice mineral nose, fruity and which offers a certain little power/concentration. It reveals notes of Bigarreau cherry, crushed/creamy blackcurrant and small notes of small intense blue fruits associated with touches of liquorice, cornflower, hints of Bourbon vanilla, fresh tobacco as well as a subtle hint of roasted cherry (in the background) and ripe almond. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers accuracy, smoothness, suppleness, delicacy, a lovely freshness, smoothness (with an airy character) as well as a certain tightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, bright blackcurrant and small notes of crushed raspberry associated with touches of star anise, chocolate as well as hints of cornflower, bergamot and toast. The tannins are supple and elegant. A little soft and chewy on the finish/persistence.
