Château Moulin Pey Labrie 2015 – Canon-Fronsac

The nose is fruity, aromatic, tight and offers a fine concentration, elegance as well as richness. It reveals notes of cassis, red berries and fine touches of raspberry touches combined with touches of spices, wood as well as a very discreet hint of coffee / cardamon and an imperceptible hint of violet / pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice mineral frame, a fine acidity, a nice fat / suavity, a nice volume and a good matter. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, crushed cassis, raspberry and ripe redcurrant, combined with fine touches of cardamom, flowers as well as discreet touches of toasted oak and a touch of cocoa. Good length. There is a subtle hint of coffee on the aftertaste.
